As an HR Representative, this starts with you! We are seeking an enthusiastic HR professional who is passionate about cultivating the school's mission and objectives through acquiring, nurturing and developing our employees.
This position is a full- time position for the Raleigh County Campus, which includes occasional travel to the Mercer, Nicholas, and Greenbriar Valley campuses.
The HR Representative will report directly to the HR Director.
The position will work collaboratively with management, faculty and staff within institution to serve the best interests of the employees.
Job Summary The Human Resources Representative provides daily administration and support for an institution's employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, or other human resource functions.
This entry-level professional position is assigned to support all phases of the employee's life-cycle experience, from recruitment to retirement.
Specific responsibilities include:
Maintain strong customer service attitude to enhance employee relations by maintaining visibility and approachability while providing excellent service to employees and managers.
Supports various HR processes including, recruiting, onboarding, performance appraisals, benefit coordination, salary and wage administration, and HR metrics.
Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of talent.
Maintain HR records by ensuring applications, resumes, interview records and job offers are documented and filed in accordance with legal requirements.
Supports benefits and leave administration including FMLA, ADA and Short-term disability.
Assists HR Director of the location in both day-to-day operational needs and provision of HR services as well as in planning goals and strategies for supplying HR services to the institution's employee community.
A successful candidate is:
Knowledgeable of human resources policies and procedures and more importantly, apply to their day-to-day working environment.
Self-directed with a sense of urgency in exercising judgement in prioritizing and organizing own work within time, process and results requirements.
Passionate about caring for others, while demonstrating a balanced perspective in taking care of self.
Curious in learning more about HR operations, process and systems.
Required
Experience:
3 years of demonstrated HR experience BS degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related discipline Preferred:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
