Summary:
The Lead Guardshall perform all duties of the security guard and act as an alternative to the Security Supervisor during off-shifts or when the Supervisor is otherwise unavailable.
This position is responsible for the safety and security of the facility and visitors to the facility and perform duties such as:
patrols the building and grounds; investigates and writes incident reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and other security related situations; and assists members of the public and individuals working in the facility.
In addition to regular Guard duties, the Lead Guard will assist the Security Supervisor in providing administrative support including new hire training, creating shift schedules, and compiling monthly reports, etc.
Pay Rate:
$20.

Assist with the training of new security staff Train security staff on existing and new SOPs Compile daily activity totals Patrolling the building Controlling access to the building Writing security/ safety related incident reports Escorting visitors Assist police with investigations Interacting with members of the public Monitoring CCTV Respond to emergency situations Other duties as assigned Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
One year of prior security experience High School Diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Good communication skills Ability to work independently or as a team Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and email applications One or more of the following qualifications preferred:
An associate's degree or 60 semesters of college coursework in any field; Three years of military or National Guard service; Successful completion or Police Officer's Standard Training; Physical Requirements:

Work takes place in a commercial facility with indoor/ outdoor exposure.
May be exposed to various temperatures and weather phenomenoms when doing external patrols.
