Pay Details:
$48/hour blended rate
Pay Breakdown:
Weekly travel stipend: $35/hr
Weekly Taxable: $13/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting in the coordination of healthcare services. This position offers the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and behavioral health facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct triage assessments and provide appropriate interventions
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of state
- Proven experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or emergency rooms
- Proficiency in performing venipuncture and administering medications
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with neonatal ventilators is a plus
- Familiarity with nursing home or behavioral health settings is preferred
